How did you end up working with Jellyfish Connect?
I studied Psychology and New Broadcasting Media at University, and always wanted to use these skills in marketing once I finished my degree. Digital marketing offered the breadth I needed to put everything I had learned into practise.
I realised I needed to stand out from the crowd, to show that I was willing to invest my own time in my development. It did the job and I was offered an interview.

What have you learned from Squared Online, that you’ve been able to use in your day-to-day?
Squared Online helped to build my confidence in digital marketing. It gave me a solid understanding of the fundamentals – attribution, PPC, user journeys, social and lots more.
The idea that successful marketing is delivering the right message at the right time, to the right person, and on the right channel, is reinforced throughout the course and is always at the forefront of your mind.
Have you made any strategic/”big impact” changes since completing Squared Online?
I’ve made changes to the way we measure the success of our core products (www.magazine.co.uk , www.pocketmags.com and www.uopen.com). I’ve also tweaked the way we attribute value across our marketing channels which has had a huge impact on our marketing activity and bottom line.
Have you shared what you learned on Squared Online with your colleagues?
Still do to this day! I share learnings from the Squared Online course and also feed back any relevant information from your events to the team.
